I think all AA teams did great!

That could be because thats all your used to seeing/competeing against  Lips sealed Wink

was that called for??  Do you really think the other divisions are that much better???  I don't think so.  There are little differences, but that's it.  This isn't college we're talking about here.

Uh yeah, there is a HUGE differance.

Even between AA and AAA.

Noone in AA could come close to Johns Creek or Columbus.

Columbus has 4 switch-kick-up to heel stretches.
Johns Creek has full ups, double down from EVERY STUNT THEY PUT UP. about 6+ fulls. 2 of those full-thru-to full.
Noone in AA can compete with that lol.

Im not even gonna TRY to compare AA to AAAA, that would just be embarrassing.   Lips sealed

So yes, BIG BIG BIG differance. Tongue

not trying to be mean, but its the truth

I'm not saying you're wrong, but let's think for a second.  Columbus, Johns Creek, they're in big metropolitan areas.  Same for your 4 and 5A schools.  AA squads often don't have the same access to gyms and other assets that bigger schools have.  Places like Blackshear, Sylania, and Cochran, aren't exactly big city worlds.  Cheerleaders in those towns have to go out of town to tumble.

Even the "mighty" 7-AA schools won't have the same resources as bigger schools because they're bigger, more people, more money.  So what I'm saying is yes, the AAA other big schools are going to have more difficult routines.  They'll have more tumbling.  I seriously doubt anyone has flyers with the range of motion that Northgate has.

The reason is because those schools are bigger, have more people, more money, and are closer to opportunities to improve the skills of their squads.

Yeah, im not arguing that fact at all.

But if cheermomro thinks AA squads can compete outside of AA she is wrong.

Well, in most cases, an AA team isn't gonna hang with a 4A school in football for the same reason.  So really, it's not exactly a good argument to make.  In most sports, including cheerleading, bigger schools will have the advantage.

Yes, I thought you'd appreciate the "mighty" quotation.

I Know you are talking about  high school but our AA middle school team won competitions all
year long against AAA, AAAA, AND AAAAA schools. And they will only get better. At the
middle school level they do not separate the schools.

Actually, they do at some middle school competitions.  They'll have small and large middle school divisions.  Middle school cheer programs sometimes don't require the same level of difficulty, tumbling, etc. as high schools.

All the competitions we went to they grouped all the middle school teams together.
Also when we checked the scores our middle school scored as high and higher than the high school.
Our coach gave them a routine that was comparable to a high school routine.
We had a six grader that could do fulls. And other strong tumblers and several standing tucks.

You cant judge middle school by the same standards as high school. Generally the judges arent even GHSA judges.

Please don't misunderstand.  I'm not bagging on your squad.  I'm sure you had a great season.  Just trying to explain to you that competing in middle school and high school isn't the same thing.
