Anybody got predictions about who is strong in AAAA this year?

Anybody got predictions about who is strong in AAAA this year?
Veterans and Carrollton look very strong. Haven't seen Columbus.

Predictions?? There are some clear contenders:
Veterans
Columbus
Carrollton
These three were the top 3 last year and they appear poised to make a run again
Add in:
Crisp, east side, south effingham, Alexander, Cedartown, Spalding, and I am sure I am forgetting others

I saw Crisp early on and they looked great, however I wonder if they are maxing out on their tumbling. When I counted their running tumbling they only had 6 girls total tumble. I thought the point of the rubric was to see what the team as a whole could do, and not just a few girls?

I agree that Columbus, Carrollton, and Veterans are three very strong teams! And There are others who have a great season so far! I just hope all teams stay healthy, free of injury, and stick all their stuff! Then the cleanest team with the most energy will take home the state title!!

I havent seen the other teams but I saw Columbus today and they were amazing! I don't know in all of my daughters years of cheer that I have seen a team as sharp and as clean as they were today

After seeing Vets today I have no doubt that theyd be able to repeat. Best i've seen them all season.

I heard about Columbus today as well. Energy and sharp. But I also heard they did not have the difficulty? Can you confirm for this thread?

I remember their pyramid had the difficulty. Just no bobbles at all. Very clean. I havent seen Veterans or Crisp, but did see Carrolton at one of my daughters other competitions. I remember thinging they did not look as clean and sharp as some of the other AAAA teams there that day. Hopefully all teams on all divisions will have cleaned their routines up and it will be very exciting at State in a coupe of weeks!

Carrollton was at McIntosh yesterday and by all accounts was the most talented team that hit for the day from what I was told. They have come a long way and they are picking up some serious steam it appears. It will be interesting down the region and state stretch.
I was told Columbus looked really sharp and had come a long way since the beginning of the season. I wonder if their entire routine maxes out?
From what it appears. Veterans seems to be doing really good as well down the stretch. I know they max on difficulty so that's not a question. Good luck.

Again, I refer back to maxing out. I know Carrollton and Veterans do max out plus do more then just what is required. Veterans on the stunting end, Carrollton on the tumbling end. Outside of these two, who maxes each part of the rubric?
I have seen video of many of the top teams. Everybody has their team they want to win so its a mute point to argue. What it comes down to is hitting and who maxes the scoresheet.

What about the teams that never get mentioned that could also be up in the final 6? Like Mary persons, west laurens, locust grove?

I definitely think the teams you mention above could crack the top 6. I believe Eastside and Alexander will be a top 6 team. Cedartown tends to always be in the top 6 but I haven't heard about them or seen them this season. Mary Persons could but would need to hit as well as locust grove. Walnut grove is another team that has about the same talent as the teams mentioned above. Don't be surprised also if Lagrange hits, they could make a top 6 showing. It's really hard to figure this out because you have lot's of teams that tend to have the same skills but coaching really comes in to play.

I feel like it is a big hit or miss(execution wise) for carrollton. They looked very clean at Northgate even with the pyramid issues. Haven't seen a video from mcintosh though.

Saw Mary persons at Northgate. they struggled big time and i do not believe they maxed out in stunts and they definitely didn't. I know it has been a rough season for them and hope they do well at region at state. Always a MP fan.

I agree with ya. I thought Carrollton looked clean as well at Northgate even with the issue and had thought they had improved. They looked way better at McIntosh from the video and appear to keep getting stronger and stronger. From what I was told they were one of the most exciting teams to watch on the day! The spell out TROJANS with fulls, that is pretty amazing for 4A! I agree with you on Mary Persons, they don't seem to be having an up year. But you never know, they could pull it together. Peaking at the right time is key. Wonder which team that will be?
I have not heard of nor seen west Lauren's. Can't tell youif that is a good or bad thing :)
