Yes Northgate Won

Followed by Starrs Mill, Union Grove Ola.

It could have been Ola then Union Grove...can't recall.

Pike won the AAAA region.

Lots of great co-ed teams but they don't max out. Actually was surprised mcintosh won since a stunt dropped. Think it had to be close.

For 5A Northgate was awesome!  Thought Starr's Mill had it won but once Northgate finished it was no doubt who the winner would be. Can't wait to see these 2 plus a few more Saturday. I have seen all the top 5A contenders this season and can honestly say that if Northgate does what they did yesterday , they have a great chance to win it all.

North side Columbus and Ola also looked great for 5A.

I would have probably been surprised too but I honestly have to say after seeing all the Co-Ed teams, McIntosh is the only team to max and they are so clean.  Add the fact they usually turn on their performance switch this time of the year, it's going to be hard to pull them off the throne.  As seen on Saturday.  Chestatee is good, but they are not nearly as clean.  They have an exciting routine to watch but it is rough around the edges.  A CoEd team is going to have to step up A LOT if they plan on taking down McIntosh at this point.  But that is also why we compete.  If McIntosh has errors, and a few of them and someone hits solid, it might just roll the other way.

Northgate is good.  Saturday is a special day.  It sometimes brings out the best in teams.  You never know.  One panel, one shot, one rotation with lots of teams, anything can happen in a division stacked full of talent.  I think Northgate has the best chance but you have to be ON when it comes to this Saturday.  Not sure what the judges will be looking for on a day like that.  My pick is Northgate, but it's just hard to say out loud they have it in the bag just because of their routine.

They do....they are JV.  They were not even going to compete this year but decided to build back up through having a JV program first.  They are AAAAA now and appear to have some growing to do.  Their coach of many years decided to step down and so they are going through a transition.
